DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU ( riding distance 170 km – L, D )

Our guide will pick you up at the hotel to start the north Vietnam 4×4 car tour to Mai Chau at 08:30 am. We ride to the west of Hanoi. After getting out of the city, our tour to northwest Vietnam will go through the countryside roads with the tranquil villages and friendly local people working on the paddy fields. We will stop for lunch in Hoa Binh. On the next route, the feeling is different because our motorbike tour is currently in a mountainous area with massive mountains and forests. We will ride along the Da river – ” a chance to see different Halong bay in the mountain “, a spectacular river in Hoa Binh province, and reach Mai Chau at 5:00 pm.

DAY 2: MAI CHAU – PHU YEN ( riding distance 150 km – B, L, D )

Phu Yen is the next stop today. Although the distance is not far, we can see many picturesque landscapes and rustic villages of ethnic groups. Before arriving at Moc Chau Plateau, our crew will be led through the rugged and narrow roads to experience the village landscapes and the panorama of huge mountains. Lunch is ready for you in Moc Chau. In the early afternoon, We ride to the Northwest and cross the Da river to Phu Yen town. Those moments are so fantastic because you can relax and watch nature on the bank of the river. The wind is so cooling and the water is as clear as crystal. We come to Phu Yen at roughly 4:30 pm and stay in the hotel tonight.

DAY3: PHU YEN – MU CANG CHAI – THAN UYEN ( riding distance 210 ) ( B, L, D )

The 210km road from Phu Yen to Than Uyen could be the highlight of the whole tour in the North of Vietnam. It can satisfy all of your expectations and desires. This route is famous for terraced paddy fields on 2 sides of the road, the friendly and hospitable residents, and winding trails that can make everyone feel exciting. This fantastic ride will end at 5:00 pm when the whole crew reaches Than Uyen town.

DAY 4: THAN UYEN – SAPA ( riding distance 110 km – B, L, D )

A tasty breakfast is followed by a great starting in the morning. We will ride to Sapa and O Quy Ho pass, one of the 4 longest and most beautiful passes in northern Vietnam. The first part of 55 km is an easy ride for you to get through many charming rustic villages with green tea plantations. The rest today is more impressive when you ride up to the heaven gate, at the height of 2000m above sea level. We will take lunch in Sapa town, and take a short trip around Sapa. The rest of the day is for relaxing to preparing for new routes

DAY 5: SAPA – BAC HA ( riding distance 160 km – B, L, D )

From Sapa, our tour to the North keeps touring to Bac Ha in the morning. This route is so wonderful with winding and up-and-down trails and passes, which can make your tour of Northern Vietnam more exciting than ever! We can see the peaceful villages across the Chinese border with the lush terraced paddy fields. When our crew reaches Bac Ha, it will be roughly 4:00 pm.

DAY 6: BAC HA – HA GIANG ( riding distance – 190 km – B, L, D )

On the dirty and bumpy roads from Bac Ha to Ha Giang, We are supposed to see the different landscapes of North Vietnam. We will have lunch in Xin Man town. After that, we keep riding along the winding river and take a panoramic look at terraced rice fields in Hoang Su Phi. It could be an exciting part of the off-road Vietnam northern part. We come to Ha Giang in the late afternoon.

DAY 7: HA GIANG – DONG VAN ( 150 km – B, L, D )

It is a great lack if you come to Vietnam without trying to ride to Ha Giang; the highest province in the North of Vietnam with the massive plateaus of rocks and colorful and vivid life of local people. Ha, Giang is an impressive and attractive destination for every tour with beauties that are typical of mountains and forests. The route today from Ha Giang to Dong Van will be the spotlight of the whole journey to the north of Vietnam. Just relax and take stops on the way to let your passion for nature photography satisfied! Traveling with the experienced team will fulfill your experiences as well as your eagerness to learn about new knowledge and the new cultures of a different Vietnam. We come to Dong Van town at 5:00. Take your time in that tranquil and romantic town and enjoy the night.

DAY 8: DONG VAN – BAO LAC ( riding distance 160 km – B, L, D )

In the morning, we can take a walk around Dong Van ancient town ( If Sunday market we will spend morning time in this market ). A taste a delicious coffee, or sightseeing the architecture which is highly typical of the French style, which was built in colonizing time. We start again at 10:00 am. On the way from Dong Van to Bao Lac, our crew will cross many landmarks like rock plateau, terraced rice fields, and through Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the 4 enormous and longest passes in the north of Vietnam. After enjoying a tour in Dong Van Global Geopark, we will arrive in Bao Lac at 4:30 pm and stay there.

DAY 9: BAO LAC – CAO BANG ( riding distance 140 km – B, L, D )

Cao Bang city will be our destination today. The first 30 km is quite smooth so you can easily ride on without any obstacles. However, the next 40 km is truly a challenge due to many blind bends. Conquering the Me Pia Pass is not a joke since it is known as one of the most dangerous passes in Northeast Vietnam. But, the breathtaking scenery along the way will make you feel all the difficulties are worth it. Enjoy lunch before we head to Tinh Tuc – a peaceful town about 70 km from Bao Lac. Continue to ride on a smooth, short road to reach Cao Bang city. Stop at a hotel in this beautiful city where we will relax and enjoy a good night’s sleep.

DAY 10: CAO BANG – BAN GIOC WATERFALLS – QUANG UYEN ( riding distance 155 km – B, L, D )

After leaving the city, we head to Ma Phuc Pass – one of the most stunning passes in Northeast Vietnam. The pass has 7 levels with dangerous bends meandering the mountain, creating extremely spectacular natural scenery. Except for experiencing it for yourself, no word can accurately describe the wonderful feeling of riding a motorbike on these roads. Our highlight today is Ban Gioc waterfall which is considered one of the 4 largest waterfalls in the world along the border between two countries. Ban Gioc is famous for its impressive natural landscape with 3 amazing levels and clear blue water flowing into the lake below. It is one of the few waterfalls in Vietnam that retains its pristine beauty due to the small number of tourists coming here. Lunch at a nearby restaurant before following another route to Quan Uyen, the home of the Nung An people. Dinner and overnight at a local homestay.

DAY 11: QUANG UYEN – LANG SON – HANOI ( riding distance 295 km – B, L )

From Quang Uyen, we ride on Route No.3 which is quite smooth and surrounded by vast sugarcane fields. Continue to embark on Route 208 to reach Dong Dang town and then follow Route 1A to Lang Son. We enjoy a late lunch in Lang Son and afternoon riding to Hanoi.  End of Tour & Services
